We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Regional Social Media & Digital Marketing Consultant to lead enterprise-wide digital storytelling, content strategy, and multi-channel marketing initiatives. Based in the Kansas City area with remote flexibility, this role serves as a key strategic lead and execution powerhouse across regional facilities and enterprise divisions Establish and monitor Medicalodges marketing program to provide programs, guidance, and training to individual facility management to generate occupancy and maintain superior community relationships

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

• Developing an annual marketing budget and plan for the region and assigned facilities in collaboration with the Regional Vice President and facility personnel.
• Collaborate with facility personnel and the Regional Vice President in evaluating and updating marketing plan to ensure compatibility with facility operations.
• Gathering and interpreting changes in the market place for services and products which can signal threats or opportunities.
• Coordinating marketing and public relations activities with the Regional Vice President and facility personnel.
• Training facility management in skills to market services to the variety of referral sources, i.e., insurance companies, HMO’s, PPO’s, and special hospital care units.
• Assisting facility personnel in customer service programs, public relations, and facility image building.
• Coordinate and participate in promotional activities and trade shows to market our services.
• Identify, develop, and evaluate marketing strategy, based on knowledge of establishment objectives, market characteristics, and cost and markup factors.
• Marketing Strategy & Budgeting: Develop, execute, and monitor annual marketing budgets and multi-channel strategies for assigned regions and facilities in close collaboration with leadership.
• Social Media Content & Storytelling: Lead enterprise social content strategy across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn), producing platform-native, short-form video content and real-time field coverage that elevates brand awareness.
• Project Management & Quality Control: Manage day-to-day workflow, track project deadline, and review all marketing deliverables to ensure high agency and brand standards.
• Media Relations & Public Relations: Develop PR outreach strategies, write and edit communications materials, pitch stories to industry/trade media, and represent the brand at promotional events and trade shows.
• Team Guidance & Training: Guide and coordinate cross-functional team members, coordinators, and facility personnel, providing training in customer service programs, image building, and marketing techniques.
• Performance Optimization & Market Research: Gather market intelligence, track campaign KPIs, analyze content metrics, and adjust strategies to capitalize on market opportunities and drive continuous improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS & RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

• Bachelors degree in marketing, public relations, or other related field preferred
• Two years work experience in social media management, content creation, digital project management, or media relations in a professional services or agency environment.
• Hands-on experience with short-form video editing software , project management platforms , and digital marketing toolsets.
• Social Media Marketing/Management experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Excellent computer skills
