Summary

Plans, directs, and implements public relations, marketing and communications initiatives as delegated and assigned by the Director of Marketing and Communications. Coordinates communications whether verbal, written or digital, between the constituents of UNC Health Nash and its affiliates, employees, the news media, and the general public as delegated and assigned.

Responsibilities

1. Participates in the administrative management of the department under the general direction of, and as delegated by, the Director.

2. Participates in developing and implementing a strategic plan for developing public awareness and a positive image of UNC Nash, in collaboration with the Director.

3. Plans and produces all hospital publications and audio visuals, including the UNC Health Nash website and social media channels.

4. Participates in planning, developing, producing, and evaluating publicity and promotions for UNC Nash news/sponsored outreach programs/events, a
