Summary

The Public Relations Manager develops and executes strategic communication initiatives that strengthen Teachers brand and reputation. This role leads the Credit Union’s public relations efforts by building strong media relationships, generating earned media opportunities, supporting executive communications, and developing issue management strategies. Working collaboratively across the organization, the Public Relations Manager identifies and amplifies stories that showcase Teachers growth, products, community impact, and organizational priorities.

Education and/or Experience

* Bachelor's degree or a minimum of eight years Public Relations, Corporate Communications, or directly related experience required. * Minimum five years of progressive Public Relations experience required. * Experience in the Financial Industry preferred. * Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills. * Strong media relations and storytelling capabilities. * Strong project management and organizational skills. * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. * Proficiency with media monitoring, social media, and communications platforms. * Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
