Job Description

About the Role

We are bringing an innovative “Timber Integrated Lighting” concept to market. We are building a lean, AI-augmented internal team to equip our team and our sales partners with high-impact collateral.

We are seeking a hybrid Product Marketing Manager & Technical Visual Storyteller. Working directly alongside the Founder/President, you will iterate on our messaging, build our visual and technical asset library and build out a growing “team” of AI marketing agents. You will sit directly at the intersection of architectural design, B2B building products marketing and cutting-edge AI workflow automation.

What You Will Do

▪ Collaborative Messaging & Execution: You won’t be starting from a blank page. You will collaborate and iterate closely with the Founder/President to refine our core messaging and value propositions. Your job is to take that foundational positioning and translate it into high-impact assets for use by us and our sales partners. The sales assets should focus on our core customers and partners: architects, landscape architects, designers, lighting designers and engineers (i.e., specifiers) to builders, contractors and electricians (i.e., trades).

▪ AI-Augmented Visual Production: Take our raw CAD files and real project photography and use AI rendering workflows (Midjourney, Veras, D5 Render, Krea, etc.) to produce photorealistic application imagery, so we can show our work across many jobs and save physical shoots for select flagship projects. You will create visuals that highlight both high-end aesthetic design (for specifiers) and seamless integration/installation (for the trades).

▪ Technical & Sales Collateral Creation: Translate engineering data and product specifications into commercial tools for our sales reps and distribution partners—including architectural cut sheets, installation guides, photometric specification tables and dealer sell-sheets that give contractors complete confidence to install.

▪ Build & Manage “AI Marketing Agents”: You will not just use AI to write copy; you will build automated systems. You will design, prompt and manage specialized AI agents (e.g., a specifier lead-scraping agent, personalized trade outreach engines, technical copy generators) to scale our output as if we had a 10-person marketing department.

▪ Trade & Partner Enablement: Build and optimize digital campaigns, technical sample-kit landing pages and highly targeted B2B outreach engines to support direct sales and channel partner pipelines.

Who You Are

▪ The AI Systems Thinker: You are deeply fluent in LLMs and modern automation platforms. You view AI not as a novelty chatbot, but as programmable agents that execute recurring marketing workflows. Experience with tools like Make/Zapier, Clay or agentic frameworks is a strong advantage.

▪ The Specifier & Trade Translator: You know how to talk to the pros. You can speak aesthetic and ambient detail to an architect or lighting designer, performance specs to an engineer and labor efficiency and practical wiring to an electrician or framing contractor.

▪ The Visual Hacker: You have a portfolio demonstrating your ability to turn basic CAD drawings into high-end, photorealistic architectural and product visuals. You know how to bridge 3D files with modern AI generation and upscaling tools.

▪ The Building Products Native: You have 3+ years of experience marketing physical products in the architectural, lighting, custom millwork or premium building materials space. You know what CRI is, understand voltage drop and can comfortably interpret architectural drawings and CAD files.

Bonus Points If You Have

▪ A background in architectural technology, industrial design, lighting design or 3D architectural visualization before transitioning into product marketing.

▪ Direct experience building sales enablement collateral for commercial sales reps, independent manufacturer reps or building material distributors.

▪ Experience launching a new architectural or building product line into the trade channel from zero to market.

Pay: $1.00 - $200,000.00 per year
