About Uncle Fluffy

Uncle Fluffy is a growing Japanese cheesecake and dessert brand with multiple Southern California locations. We are looking for a creative, hands-on freelance social media specialist to help build awareness, engagement, and local customer traffic--particularly for our newer Costa Mesa and Huntington Beach locations.

This is an independent contractor opportunity for someone who understands short-form content and knows how to make a local food brand feel exciting, approachable, and shareable. We are not looking for a large agency or a senior-level marketing executive. We are looking for a capable, creative professional with practical social media experience, good instincts, and a portfolio that demonstrates results.

Scope of Services

The selected contractor will develop and execute a social media content plan focused primarily on TikTok and Facebook. Instagram experience is also highly desirable.

Expected services may include

• Developing a practical monthly social media content strategy
• Creating engaging short-form videos, photographs, posts, and stories
• Filming products, store activity, customer experiences, and promotional content
• Editing videos with captions, music, transitions, and platform-appropriate trends
• Writing engaging captions and recommending hashtags and posting times
• Scheduling and publishing approved content
• Monitoring comments and engagement and recommending appropriate responses
• Identifying relevant TikTok trends and adapting them to the Uncle Fluffy brand
• Developing campaigns for new products, holidays, promotions, and local events
• Suggesting collaborations with local food creators and micro-influencers
• Reviewing performance data and providing a concise monthly report with recommendations
• Helping increase local awareness, audience engagement, store visits, and share of voice
