Marketing Assistant — B2B Manufacturing

About us

An agency serving industrial and precision manufacturing companies (CNC machine shops supplying aerospace and defense OEMs, and metal fabricators. We run their marketing end to end: SEO and content, recruiting and demand-gen ad campaigns, CRM, PR, and brand. You'll work directly with the principal.

What you'll do

• Support sales team by making marketing collateral, prospecting lists, and trade show materials
• Build and schedule social calendars (LinkedIn, Facebook) and format sales collateral: capability one-pagers, line cards, case studies
• Support recruiting campaigns for skilled-trades roles: build and refresh Indeed/Facebook/Google job ads, monitor applications, and manage employer-review campaigns (Indeed, Glassdoor, Google)
• Maintain HubSpot CRM: contact imports, list hygiene, pipeline updates, and simple dashboards
• Assemble monthly performance reports from Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Search Console
• Coordinate press releases for acquisitions and company news: formatting, distribution, and trade-publication outreach (e.g., Modern Machine Shop, American Machinist)
• Draft and publish SEO content: capability pages, blog posts, and location/industry pages for manufacturing clients (4+ pieces/month per client)
• Wrangle vendors and details: photographers, designers, printers, directory listings, Google Business Profiles

What we're looking for

• 2+ years in a marketing coordinator/assistant role, ideally at or serving manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or industrial companies, you know what a machine shop, an RFQ, or an AS9100 cert is (or can learn fast)
• Results driving marketing metrics, sales, or recruiting
• Strong writer and editor; you can turn an engineer's bullet points into clean copy
• Hands-on with at least some of: HubSpot, Google Ads, Google Analytics, WordPress or similar CMS, Canva, Excel/Sheets
• Comfortable using AI tools to work faster without shipping unedited slop
• Organized, deadline
