Position Summary
The Marketing Assistant supports the Marketing Manager in executing the practice's marketing and social media efforts across all clinic locations. This role manages the day-to-day social media presence — creating graphics, captions, and video content, maintaining the posting calendar, responding to engagement with approved messaging, and reporting on performance. The Marketing Assistant also helps maintain the master marketing calendar, organizes creative assets, assists with email, direct mail, events, and physician outreach, coordinates with clinic teams and vendors, proofreads materials for brand consistency, and provides general administrative support.
Essential Functions
- Work with the Marketing Manager to develop the annual social media posting schedule.
- Create social media graphics, captions, reels, videos, and promotional posts.
- Maintain the social media calendar and schedule approved content.
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and reviews using approved messaging.
- Track social media performance and prepare regular reports.
- Coordinate with clinic teams to collect photos, videos, testimonials, and event information.
- Help maintain the master marketing calendar and track projects and deadlines.
- Organize marketing files, creative assets, and promotional materials.
- Assist with email, direct mail, events, physician outreach, and other marketing projects.
- Coordinate with clinic teams, vendors, and outside partners as needed.
- Proofread materials for accuracy and brand consistency.
- Provide general administrative support to the Marketing Manager.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- One to three years of social media, marketing, communications, or administrative experience preferred.
- Experience creating social media content using Canva or similar software.
- Experience with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Meta Business Suite.
- Basic experience creating and editing short-form videos.
- Strong writing, proofreading, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel, and SharePoint.
- Portfolio or examples of previous social media work preferred.
- Healthcare or multi-location business experience is helpful but not required.
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
