Marketing and Development Coordinator

Position Overview

FISH is seeking a creative, strategic, highly organized Marketing & Development Coordinator to support the organization’s marketing, communications, fundraising, community relations, and development efforts.

This is a multi-faceted position that requires someone who can move comfortably between creative marketing projects, donor communications, grant research and writing, media relations, social media, community outreach, and events. The ideal candidate is both an excellent writer and an imaginative problem-solver who can develop creative ideas while also managing the details necessary to bring those ideas to life.

The Marketing & Development Coordinator will work closely with the Head of Marketing and Development and the FISH management team, as well as regional broadcast, print, and online media organizations; donors and foundations; local government; community partners; volunteers; and members of the community.

FISH serves people from many different backgrounds and circumstances who are working to improve their lives. Our programs also provide opportunities to train and support medical students, nurses, social workers, and other professionals, as well as individuals transitioning from homelessness, crisis, or other challenging circumstances. The successful candidate must be comfortable communicating respectfully and effectively with a wide range of people—from individuals receiving services to senior executives, government officials, donors, volunteers, and community leaders.
