Job Description

THE OPPORTUNITY

A high-growth, global performance-marketing and social-commerce technology business is seeking a Director of Creator Growth to accelerate the expansion of its creator network. The business helps retailers generate measurable online sales and enables content creators and influencers to earn revenue through affiliate partnerships and product recommendations.

This is a commercially focused leadership role for a hands-on builder who can identify and win high-potential creators, develop long-term partnerships, and establish a scalable creator-acquisition strategy. The successful candidate will initially lead recruitment and relationship development directly, then build the processes and team needed to support continued growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Identify, engage, recruit and onboard high-performing creators whose audiences generate measurable product sales.

· Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospective creators, from initial outreach through negotiation, onboarding and activation.

· Develop compelling partnership propositions that demonstrate how creators can maximise earnings through the platform.

· Build trusted, long-term relationships across the creator ecosystem, including relevant platforms, communities, conferences and industry events.

· Create a repeatable creator-acquisition strategy, playbook and operating model that can scale with business growth.

· Use performance data—including sales volume, conversion rates and creator earnings—to prioritise opportunities and assess results.

· Partner with marketing, product, analytics and senior leadership teams to improve creator acquisition, engagement and commercial outcomes.

· Represent the business credibly in the market and contribute to the growth of its creator community and sponsorship business.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

· Typically 8+ years of experience in the creator economy, influencer marketing, affiliate marketing, social commerce or a closely related field.

· Demonstrated success recruiting and onboarding commerce-driven creators into affiliate or monetisation programmes.

· Strong business development and partnership-sales capability, including prospecting, persuasion, negotiation and closing.

· A practical understanding of affiliate monetisation, creator earnings models, conversion dynamics and performance-led commerce.

· Established knowledge of the creator landscape and the platforms and communities where creators build their businesses.

· Experience managing a structured pipeline using CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot.

· Comfort interpreting commercial performance metrics and using data to prioritise outreach and improve results.

· A self-starter with strong communication skills, sound judgement, resilience and the ability to build trust quickly.

LOCATION & WORKING ARRANGEMENT

· Primary office locations: Santa Monica, California, or New York.

· Hybrid working: the listing indicates office attendance may be required for up to 3 days per week, depending on location. For candidates based in Los Angeles or New York, the stated preference is 2 days per week in the office.

· Remote consideration: candidates based in Texas, Colorado, California, Washington, Nevada, New York or New Jersey may be considered for remote work, subject to the employer's arrangements.

· Occasional travel may be required.

· Visa sponsorship is not available. Relocation assistance is not available.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Advertised annual salary range: USD $150,000–$200,000. The source listing uses this range both as OTE and as base salary, so the guaranteed base should be confirmed during the recruitment process. The listing states that commission and bonus compensation are not offered.

· Medical, dental and vision healthcare plans.

· 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching.

· Basic and voluntary life insurance, including AD&D coverage.

· Long-term and short-term disability coverage.

· Paid maternity, paternity and medical leave benefits.

· Flexible paid time off and paid holidays.

· Flexible work schedules.

· Learning and development resources.

· Wellness resources.
