Community Marketer

Job Description

Marketing · Remote / APAC Community Marketer Full-time #### About the Role

At Aye, the ecosystem we're building: across merchants, consumers, developers, and partners: is as important as the technology itself. As Community Marketer, you will be the architect of that ecosystem: building communities of engaged advocates, creating spaces where fintech practitioners, retail innovators, and developers connect and co-create around the future of commerce. This is a high-ownership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of community strategy, content, and live experience.

#### What You'll Own

  • Architect and grow Aye's community presence across X/Twitter, LinkedIn, Telegram, Discord, and WhatsApp; develop platform-specific engagement strategies and content calendars
  • Lead Aye's event programme: conceive and execute hackathons, developer meetups, merchant innovation workshops, and fintech networking events across APAC
  • Build the narrative engine: translate Aye's product milestones, partnership announcements, and merchant success stories into content that resonates with developers, founders, and retail operators
  • Create and manage community feedback loops: systematically surface insights from community discussions to product and business teams
  • Measure what matters: track community health metrics (active members, event attendance, engagement rate, sentiment, referral conversions) and use data to guide strategy
  • Identify and cultivate community champions, developer advocates, and merchant ambassadors who amplify Aye's mission authentically
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and BD to align community initiatives with product launches and commercial milestones

#### What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years in community management, developer relations, brand marketing, or ecosystem growth: ideally in tech, fintech, Web3, or consumer-facing products
  • Demonstrated track record of building and scaling engaged communities, both online and in-person
  • Confident event producer: experience planning and executing multi-stakeholder events from budget to post-event retrospective
  • Strong content instincts: you understand what makes complex ideas shareable and what drives authentic engagement vs. vanity metrics
  • Data-driven: comfortable with community analytics tools and translating engagement data into strategic recommendations
  • Bonus: experience with Web3 community dynamics, Telegram/Discord bot management, or developer advocacy programmes
