WHO YOU ARE

YOUR ROLE & IMPACT AT ASG

As part of a purposeful team at Archipelago Strategies Group, Inc. (ASG), a full-service marketing agency that specializes in impactful social marketing, the Communications Manager plays a key role in executing complex communication projects for our clients, coordinating and executing marketing campaigns across traditional communication channels, such as radio, television, and newspapers. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience managing traditional media buys across TV, radio, print, and out-of-home, with strong relationship-building skills with local media and press and a passion for delivering high-impact campaigns.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Media Buying: Handle media buys across traditional channels—TV, radio, print, and out-of-home—ensuring that the strategy aligns with each campaign.
  • Multilingual Campaigns: Work on campaigns in multiple languages and channels, ensuring that messaging resonates across diverse communities.
  • Press and Public Relations: Write and distribute press releases, media advisories, and op-eds, while also managing media events like press conferences or roundtables.
  • Community Engagement: Support community outreach efforts through interviews and press, fostering relationships with local media and helping amplify important messages.
  • Event Support: Attend on-site events or interviews when needed, bringing your expertise to the front lines of client engagement.
  • Media Relationships: Build and maintain strong connections with local media contacts to maximize campaign impact.
