Communication and Marketing Intern

Magic, Balloons & More Inc. is seeking a creative and organized Marketing Specialist to join our team! This is an internship opportunity perfect for someone looking to build real-world marketing experience in a fun, fast-paced entertainment business.

As our Marketing Specialist, you’ll play an active role in growing our brand and supporting daily operations. Responsibilities include:

• Coordinating schedules and assisting with internal organization
• Occasionally communicating with current and prospective clients
• Writing engaging digital content (blogs, newsletters, postcard mailings, social media posts, website descriptions, and more)
• Managing and growing our presence across social media platforms
• Brainstorming and executing creative marketing campaigns and promotional ideas
• Supporting administrative tasks such as email correspondence and cross-team collaboration
• Occasionally attending live events (magic shows, balloon events, foam parties, and other gigs) to assist with marketing and content capture

What We’re Looking For

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to take initiative and follow through on ideas
• Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Canva, Wix, and Mailchimp
• Familiarity with social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram
• Basic understanding of digital marketing principles
