About VRTU Media

VRTU Media is a growing video production and content marketing agency based on California’s Central Coast. We create flagship films, social media content, and ongoing video marketing systems for brands.

The Role

We’re looking for an organized, client-focused project manager to oversee client relationships and coordinate our network of editors, freelancers, and production vendors.

You will be the bridge between our clients and creative team, making sure communication is clear, vendors have what they need, and projects are completed on time and at a high standard.

Primary Responsibilities

Client Success

• Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned clients
• Lead client check-ins, onboarding, and planning meetings
• Communicate timelines, expectations, progress, and next steps
• Gather feedback, approvals, assets, and information from clients
• Build strong relationships and identify opportunities to better support each account
• Keep clients feeling informed, supported, and confident in VRTU

Vendor and Project Management

• Coordinate editors, freelancers, production partners, and other vendors
• Assign projects and provide clear briefs, deadlines, assets, and creative direction
• Review vendor work for quality, accuracy, and alignment with the client’s brand
• Track timelines, deliverables, revisions, approvals, and final delivery
• Identify problems early and keep projects moving without constant owner involvement

Content and Operations

• Create content briefs, briefing sheets, interview questions, and project timelines
• Help organize shoots, client assets, and final deliverables
• Join on site for film days to support crew and producers
• Improve VRTU’s onboarding, production, and project-management systems
