We’re a trusted, locally owned mechanic shop serving our community with personable automotive repair and maintenance since 2002. As we’ve grown, we’ve been looking for a motivated and creative Marketing Intern to support our team in driving brand awareness and customer engagement both through digital and traditional marketing methods.

Overview

As a Marketing Intern, you will work directly with shop management to implement a hybrid marketing strategy that strengthens our online brand presence and within the local community. This role will give you hands-on experience in digital advertising, customer communication, and content creation. Ideal for anyone interested in gaining real world marketing experience in a small business environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in executing digital ad campaigns (primarily Google Ads) and track their performance
• Monitor and respond to online reviews across platforms (Primarily Google) in a professional tone that aligns with our shop’s brand
• Research and identify new digital marketing opportunities (local directories, social platforms, etc.)
• Write and post weekly & monthly blog posts in line with our branding guidelines.
• Create and design print assets including posters, postcards, and signage to support promotions and internal messaging
• Maintain consistency with brand guidelines across all marketing materials
• Assist in gathering marketing insights (customer feedback, ad performance, etc.) to inform future campaigns
• Support with copywriting and editing for promotions, service notices, and customer outreach
• Write and publish weekly GBP Updates, Promotions, and service updates

Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Strong interest in marketing, communications, or graphic design (students or recent grads welcome)
• Familiarity with Google Ads, Adobe tools, and basic marketing analytics is a plus
• Excellent written communication and attention to visual detail
• Proficient copywriting and editi
