Social Media Coordinator

Job Overview

As a Social Media Coordinator, you’ll bring a brand’s voice to life across social media platforms. You’ll plan and create engaging content, connect with audiences, and use analytics to refine digital marketing efforts. This role blends creative storytelling with careful performance monitoring and collaboration.

Duties

• Create, write, proofread, and schedule social media content and advertisements, including graphics, photography, and video, using media editing tools such as Canva.
• Manage social media communication and community relationships; use social listening and public relations practices to respond thoughtfully and support consistent branding.
• Coordinate content using scheduling platforms, such as Planable, Hootsuite, or Buffer.
• Monitor social media analytics, marketing analytics, web analytics, and digital marketing performance; use Google Analytics and other marketing online analytics to assess media performance.
• Apply SEO (search engine optimization) and keyword research to strengthen content discovery, including for e-commerce initiatives. Your impact: Relevant, well-managed content helps audiences find useful information and engage with the brand.

Experience

• Experience or demonstrated ability in content creation, content writing, graphic design, video editing, photography, and proofreading.
• Familiarity with social media management, social media content creation, social media content marketing, and social media analytics.
• Working knowledge of digital marketing, SEO, Google Analytics, and performance monitoring; practical experience with Hootsuite, Buffer, or Facebook Advertising is helpful.
• Canva, is preferred; equivalent media editing tools are also relevant.
• Strong communication, organization, and relationship management skills, with the ability to balance creative work and data-informed decisions.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
