About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, creative Social Media Content Creator to showcase our business, engage our local communities, and keep our online channels active, fresh, and professional.

In this role, you will split your on-site content-capture time between our Swansea, MA and Providence, RI offices. We will work together on an alternating schedule (for example, Swansea one week, Providence the next, or rotating bi-weekly blocks) to capture raw photo and video assets, collaborate on ideas with our team, and turn that footage into engaging social posts.

This role is well-suited for a local freelance marketer, content creator, photographer/videographer, or creative professional looking for consistent, flexible part-time hours in the South Coast and Greater Providence area.

Core Responsibilities

• On-Site Content Capture (Rotating Locations): Spend 1–2 hours on-site alternating between our Swansea and Providence offices to film short-form video clips and take high-quality photos (team spotlights, client interactions, behind-the-scenes moments, and quick informational Q&As).
• Short-Form Video & Visual Editing: Edit raw clips into clean, engaging Reels, Shorts, and photo carousels using mobile or desktop tools (e.g., CapCut, Canva, InShot, Premiere).
• Copywriting & Scheduling: Write clear, professional captions with appropriate local hashtags; schedule and publish a steady cadence of 2 quality posts per week across Facebook and Instagram.
• Content Planning: Coordinate with leadership on monthly themes, promotions, and announcements across both office locations to keep our editorial calendar balanced.
• Asset Repurposing: Maximize on-site filming time by turning batch footage into evergreen Stories, highlights, and future post templates.

Qualifications & Skills

• Demonstrated experience producing engaging social media content on Instagram and Facebook (brand work, client work, or personal creative portfolio).
• Comfortable directing and filming authentic, well-lit smartphone video and photo content in an office setting.
• Proficiency with modern content creation tools like CapCut, Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong writing and proofreading skills to draft polished, brand-aligned captions.
• Dependable, organized, and capable of working independently once monthly shot lists are set.
• Location & Travel: Must have reliable personal transportation and be able to commute comfortably to both Swansea, MA and Providence, RI.

Schedule & Compensation

• Hours: ~4 to 5 hours per week (budgeted up to 20 hours per month).
• Pay Rate: $25.00 – $30.00 / hour, depending on experience and portfolio quality.
• Flexibility: On-site shoots are coordinated during regular business hours on a predictable rotation between Swansea and Providence, while editing, caption writing, and scheduling can be completed remotely on your own schedule. Potential for expanded hours as our content initiatives grow.
