Part-Time Social Media & Client Relations Assistant

We are looking for a creative, reliable assistant to support our growing businesses and monthly events throughout the DMV area. Social media content and management will be the primary focus of this position, along with assisting with ongoing client communication and relationship maintenance.

Main Responsibilities

• Create, schedule, and publish engaging social media content
• Take quality photos and videos at events
• Edit photos, Reels, and short-form videos for social media
• Follow current social media trends and develop creative content ideas
• Conduct Google searches and basic market research
• Monitor messages, comments, and inquiries across social media platforms
• Follow up with current and potential clients in a friendly, professional manner
• Maintain client contact information and help strengthen ongoing relationships
• Assist with event check-in, guest coordination, and on-site activities
• Provide basic marketing and administrative support as needed

Qualifications

• Experience in social media, marketing, or content creation
• Strong communication and client-service skills
• Comfortable taking and editing photos and videos
• Familiar with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Google, and basic editing tools
• Creative, organized, dependable, and able to work independently
• Must live in the DMV area and be available to attend several events each month
• Some evening and weekend availability is required
• Reliable transportation is preferred

Compensation: $15–$20 per hour, depending on experience, with additional bonus opportunities for selected events and projects.
