Marketing Manager-Equine Products

Do you know horses and love marketing? Select The Best, the equine supplement brand from Richdel, Inc., is looking for a Marketing Manager to lead our brand. You'll own the product line from formulation to label, run our online promotions, manage our sponsored riders, and represent us at trade shows and horse shows across the country. You'll report directly to our President and work closely with sales, production, customer service, and our nutrition and veterinary advisors.

What we're looking for

• 3–5 years of marketing or product management experience, preferably in the equine, animal health or agricultural industry
• Working knowledge of horses, equine nutrition and the horse show world
• Hands-on skill with website content, email, social media, paid ads and analytics
• Strong writing and presentation skills, including explaining technical product information clearly
• Organized, budget-minded, and comfortable negotiating agreements with outside partners
• Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

What you'll do

• Product management: manage the line through its full lifecycle and keep labels and claims compliant with FDA, state Department of Agriculture and NASC requirements
• Online promotions: plan and run promotions across our website, email, social media and paid ads, and report on results
• Sponsored riders: recruit riders and ambassadors, manage their agreements and content, and measure each sponsorship's return
• Product training: build and deliver training and sales tools for our team, distributors and retailers
• Trade shows and horse shows: plan our show calendar, meet riders, trainers, owners and dealers face to face, and bring their feedback back to the team
• Budget and reporting: own the annual marketing budget and report on results

What we offer

• $85,000–$105,000 base salary, based on experience, plus an annual performance bonus

Working conditions

Remote office work with about 25–40% travel, including evenings and weekends at shows. Show work is outdoors and around horses; booth setup requires lifting up to 50 lbs.
