Marketing Coordinator

This is an in-office position at our Greenville, SC location. This role is not remote, not hybrid, and not flexible on location. Please only apply if you can be in our office Monday through Friday.

ABOUT US

Business Buddy is a digital marketing agency that works only with home service businesses (HVAC, plumbing, roofing, electrical, landscaping, and more). We help them grow through advertising, SEO, content, websites, and AI-powered marketing. We are a small team that moves fast, holds high standards, and takes our client results seriously.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

We are looking for someone who just gets automations and AI. You are the person friends call when their tech breaks, and you have already built things with tools like HighLevel, Make, Zapier, or Claude because you wanted to see what was possible.

You will own the automations behind our clients' marketing. You will set up and maintain HighLevel accounts, connect our tools, build newsletters and promotions, and troubleshoot anything that stops working. A big part of this job is figuring out what is possible, learning how to do it, and finding new ways to use AI to give our clients a better experience.

This is not a task-checking role. If something is supposed to run on its own, you make sure it does, and you are always looking for the next thing we could automate.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

HighLevel setup and builds

• Set up HighLevel sub-accounts for new clients and complete A2P registration
• Build and maintain client pipelines, workflows, and automations
• Update chatbots and make sure message routing works

Testing and troubleshooting

• Test every automation before it goes live
• Check live automations so they keep working
• Find and fix what breaks, without waiting to be told

Newsletters and promotions

• Build monthly client newsletters using our Claude newsletter skill, then set up the automation that sends them
• Write copy for text and email promotions
• Build referral pipelines and the promotions that support them

AI and connecting tools

• Use Claude every day and build Claude skills
• Connect our tools through Make, APIs, connectors, and MCP servers
• Bring new ideas that improve how our clients experience our service

COMPENSATION

• $19 to $21 per hour, based on experience, with a pay review at 90 days
• 40 hours per week, 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday (no nights or weekends)
• Paid sick days, holidays, and vacation days

Do excellent work and you will be paid for it.

YOU ARE A GOOD FIT IF YOU...

• Have hands-on experience with HighLevel or HubSpot
• Have built automations in Make or Zapier
• Use Claude, including Cowork and Claude Code, and can show us what you built with it
• Love figuring out why something broke and fixing it
• Think analytically and catch the small details others miss
• Teach yourself new tools without waiting for training
• See a repetitive task and immediately wonder how to automate it

BONUS POINTS IF YOU...

• Have set up HighLevel sub-accounts, A2P registration, or chatbots
• Have built your own Claude skills
• Have connected tools with APIs or MCP servers
• Have built and deployed something with Vercel or a similar platform
• Have written email or text marketing copy
