About Gotham Park

Gotham Park is a grassroots 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2021 to create a vibrant, inclusive, hyper-urban public space at the Manhattan landing of the Brooklyn Bridge. In its first four years, Gotham Park has reopened nearly four acres—including the return of the beloved Brooklyn Banks—while activating the space with free public programming.

Predominantly funded by private donations, Gotham Park maintains and beautifies this newly reopened public space while partnering with NYC agencies to improve and expand it for the community. Through thoughtful programming, partnerships, and community engagement, Gotham Park works to ensure this unique public space remains accessible, welcoming, and vibrant for generations to come.

Position Summary

The Marketing, Communications & Outreach Manager is responsible for leading Gotham Park’s day-to-day marketing, communications, and community outreach efforts. This role oversees Gotham Park’s public-facing brand and digital presence, directs the work of the part-time Social Media & Digital Content Coordinator, and serves as the day-to-day steward of Gotham Park’s Pentagram-designed brand system.
