Marketing and Sales Director

The role

We're looking for a Marketing and Sales Director who wants to make an impact in the mental health and faith-based community. Someone who will own the results, not just complete the tasks. You're a confident, mission-minded marketer who loves connecting with people and seeing your work make a real difference.

In this role, you'll lead marketing for Wise Practice Consulting: launching programs, telling our story, and talking with the practice owners and partners who want to work with us. You'll also get hands-on with local marketing for Waters Edge Counseling, building relationships in the community that connect people with care.

Both businesses are owned by Whitney Owens. She built Waters Edge Counseling into a successful group counseling practice, then started Wise Practice Consulting after seeing a need to help other practice owners do the same. Today, Wise Practice exists to empower and equip faith-based private practice owners to build practices that are profitable, healthy, and aligned with their values. We serve a national community through our membership, consulting, podcast, weekly webinars, an annual Summit, and a retreat in Savannah.

We use AI to handle much of the writing and design, so your time goes to strategy, relationships, and growth.

What you'll do

For Wise Practice Consulting

• Build and run the marketing plan, and track results against clear goals
• Lead membership launches, promotional emails, the weekly email, and Facebook ads
• Manage social media, including capturing photos and video of Whitney
• Run our Circle community platform: posts, pages, and course recordings
• Keep the website current, and create graphics and presentation slides
• Take calls with people interested in consulting and guide them to a decision
• Take calls with organizations that want to partner with Wise Practice
• Market our annual Summit, manage the CE certificate process, and represent Wise Practice at the event

For Waters Edge Counseling

• Manage social media and grow the email list
• Follow up with referrals and build new referral relationships in the community
• Make small website updates and manage online directory listings

Who you are

• Mission-minded. You're excited to serve faith-based practice owners and a local counseling practice.
• Experienced with AI. You've used AI to improve real workflows, not just to write the occasional post.
• Confident and driven. You enjoy talking with people, you're comfortable on sales calls, and you follow through.
• An owner, not a task-taker. You take responsibility for results and bring ideas, not just questions.
• Hands-on. You've run marketing for a small business or entrepreneur and enjoy doing the details well.
• Savannah-based. You live in or near Savannah and enjoy a mix of in-person and work-from-home time.

You'll hit the ground running if you know

Asana, Circle, Canva, and Facebook or Meta Ads.
