The Role

The Surface Shop is seeking a highly resourceful Executive Assistant with strong digital marketing capabilities to work directly alongside our founder and CEO.

At its core, this is a founder-support role. You will help manage priorities, prepare for meetings, organize follow-up, research opportunities, coordinate people and projects, and turn high-level strategies into actionable plans that continue moving after the conversation ends.

At the same time, marketing experience is an absolute requirement. Marketing will be your primary long-range area of ownership, with responsibility for continuously improving our website, digital presence, content, social channels, and lead generation.

We are a natural stone company serving homeowners, architects, designers, builders, contractors, and dealers throughout the United States. Our website and visual content are central to how customers discover our products and engage with our brand.

We are looking for someone who combines the organization and follow-through of an excellent Executive Assistant with the digital fluency, creativity, and commercial instincts of a hands-on marketer.

You'll balance daily execution of the founder's agenda with ownership of longer-term marketing priorities—keeping immediate needs under control while ensuring important projects continue advancing across weeks and months.
